In the production process of clothing, the main areas such as the body and sleeves of the clothing, which play a key role in the warmth effect, need to be filled with down to ensure the basic warmth performance and quality of the clothing. For relatively small areas such as plackets, pocket covers, hoods, collars, etc., other filling materials can be selected as long as they meet the national mandatory standard GB 18383-2007 "General Technical Requirements for Wadding Fiber Products".​ From the perspective of applicable objects, woven infant down clothing can be produced according to this standard. However, knitted infant down clothing is different and should follow the FZ/T 73025-2019 "Infant Knitted Clothing" standard. The FZ/T 73053-2015 "Knitted Down Clothing" standard does not apply to knitted infant down clothing products.​It should be pointed out that this product standard does not apply to garments that use down and fiber blended filling, or use fiber filling in layers or zones inside the garment. At present, there are neither national standards nor industry standards in the field of down and other fiber blended filling in China. If an enterprise is involved in the production of such products, it must formulate its own enterprise standards based on its actual situation to regulate the production process and control product quality.

    3. Fine screening of down: A fine screening device is used to carefully classify the down after primary cleaning according to the physical characteristics of down, feathers of different sizes and wing stalks to ensure accurate separation of each category.​

    4. Deep cleaning process: Using special cleaning equipment, the down cleaning agent is accurately proportioned according to the weight of the down during cleaning, and the down is deeply cleaned in all directions to completely remove grease, dust and odor.​

    5. High-speed centrifugal drying: Through high-speed centrifugal equipment, the deep-cleaned down is subjected to high-speed rotation and drying operations to quickly reduce the moisture content of the down.​

    6. Hot air circulation drying: Use hot air circulation drying equipment to evenly deliver hot air to dry the down after spinning, and simultaneously achieve deodorization and preliminary disinfection during the drying process.​

    7. Air cooling and secondary impurity removal: With the help of air cooling equipment, the down is cooled after drying, and the filtering device is used to remove the fine impurities that may remain.​

    8. Strict quality inspection: According to the established quality inspection standards, professional testing instruments are used to conduct comprehensive quality inspection on down products after secondary cooling and impurity removal to ensure that product quality meets the standards.​

    9. Standardized packaging and storage: Down products that have passed quality inspection are packaged according to different varieties using standardized packaging equipment, and then stored in a suitable environment for easy subsequent use.
